About Winnovative Technology Consulting. LLC:

M Scott Schaffernoth, ACC, SLXCE, MCP, founded WTC in 1993 while still in the employ of a local regional bank (which shall not be named and which has since gone out of business – no not related to the current mess – they had enough of their own apparently).  Having worked in items processing, customer service, and lastly the systems departments, he became enamored with the burgeoning possibilities of the desktop PC platform.  (PCs were still the ‘Wild West’ – Windows for Workgroups 3.11 was the latest and greatest desktop OS and Windows NT 3.1 – the first 32-bit version of Windows – was barely months old…)
When, after the then CEO ‘retired’ – with a little help from the board of directors, and the smell of a merger – a bevy of ‘consultants’ swarmed the bank campus, checking all the dials, gauges, and meters, and taking the temperatures of the employees, it was determined that M Scott’s temperature was not in line with that of a typical banker, so a script for a severance package was written and administered – ‘No, don’t call in the morning.’
From there, M Scott jumped into technology consulting with both feet and hasn’t looked back since.
In 1994, while engaged to design, build, and implement a custom solution in which one of the requirements was that it must integrate with the client’s Act! system, M Scott had his first encounter of the third kind with Act!.  The rest is history – he had been abducted.
In addition to being certified as an Act! Certified Consultant – the singular in upstate and the capital district region of New York, M Scott is also a certified engineer and developer for Sage CRM Saleslogix 2.x through 7.5 on both the Windows and web technology platforms.
He also knows a smidge about SQL server…
Colleen Schaffernoth, SPSC, DOP, joined WTC in 2001 as lead marketer and evangelist.  Prior to that Colleen acted as Dir. Of Development for the American Cancer Society’s ‘Making Strides Against Breast  Cancer’ event in the Capital District of New York for 4 years.  She nurtured the Albany Making Strides event from a squalid $60,000 to a significant 10 factor of $600,000+.
Colleen is an excellent trainer, diplomat, and the ‘straight-man’ for M Scott.
