Cloning VMs in VirtualBox 4.0x w/o The Hassle of Reactivating Windows

Virtual Box 4.x is an open source virtualization software that supports multiple operating systems including Mac OS X, Linux and Windows.  It offers excellent performance, and, it is free!  It’s a great platform that allows for testing various software systems that do not allow more than one version installed at a time.

Quick Fix: Getting ACT! to Default New History to A Different Type

Continuing with my theme of ‘free’ (or close enough) from my last post, now I continue looking at a couple of nifty tools that Microsoft offers that we think can offer a real value for many of our small business clients.

While we don’t typically think of Microsoft and ‘free’ in the same sentence, due to competitive pressures from Google Apps, Zoho, and open source software, the Windows giant is working hard to remain relevant in a ‘cloud’ based world.
